What we collect
π§πππΎππ«πππππ½ πΏππ π ππ stores the following data locally on your device only using Chrome's built-in storage API:
- Your watchlist (the coin IDs you've added)
- Your preferred quote currency (e.g. USD, EUR)
- Any price alerts you've set
- Your theme preference (light / dark / auto)
- Your CoinGecko API key, if you choose to add one
This data never leaves your device. We have no servers. We see none of it.
What we don't collect
- No personal information β no name, email, or account
- No browsing history or page activity
- No wallet addresses or private keys
- No usage analytics or telemetry
- No crash reports sent to us
Third-party data
π§πππΎππ«πππππ½ πΏππ π ππ fetches public market data from CoinGecko's API (api.coingecko.com). This request includes your coin list and quote currency as URL parameters β standard for any API call, covered by CoinGecko's own Privacy Policy. No personal data is included in these requests.
Permissions explained
- storage β to save your watchlist and settings locally on your device
- alarms β to refresh prices every minute in the background
- notifications β to deliver your price alerts via Chrome
- host permission (api.coingecko.com) β to fetch live market prices
Changes to this policy
If we ever update this policy, we'll revise the date above and note the change in the extension's update log. We will never introduce data collection without being explicit about it.
